The Board of Studies in Education (U.G.) proposed the Curriculum Design of Two Year B.Ed. program in tune with the guidelines of NCFTE (2009), NCTE (2014), and NCERT. The restructured program shall be implemented with effect from 2015-17 academic years.  The layout of the new program is conceived as comprising of three broader areas as follows:

A. PERSPECTIVES IN EDUCATION- Learner Studies, Contemporary Studies, Educational Studies
B. CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGIC STUDIES - Curriculum Studies and Pedagogic Studies
C. ENGAGEMENT WITH THE FIELD- Professional capacities, Teacher sensibilities and skills. (School Internship)

      B.Ed. Admission
       Admission Norms Eligibility for admission, norms for admission, reservation of seats for B.Ed Degree programme shall be according to the rules framed by the university and NCTE from time to time.
      B.Ed. -  Bachelor of Education : Eligibility Criterion

        Candidates with 50 percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree / in the Master’s Degree in Science/ Social Sciences/Humanity/ Bachelor’s in engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 percentage marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission

      The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/ State Government, which is applicable.



      Results

      We are happy that we are able to produce nearly cent percent result for the B.Ed.Degree Examination of the M.G.University every year. It may be mentioned that NICY ANDREWS of our College could get the First rank at B.Ed.Degree Examination March 2005. Two of our students got 7th rank of MG University in the year 2019-21

      Fees

      Merit Quota Admissions - Rs 45,000/- per year as tution fee
      Management Quota Admissions - Rs 60,000/- per year as tution fee.
